yes but for 3 days the sun has been playing peek a boo, i shot windsurfers yesterday but every time i got one in frame the sun would disappear, a nikon would have helped by giving me more yellow

Tybee Island is gorgeous. I can bike back and forth on my bike. We headed to Savannah too. I love the old buildings, parks , and trees.

I would never buy such a camera. Digital MF is overkill and you'll never catch me owning one of those bodies. There are few that own one on this forum and they're financing it. That doesn't make sense to me. I could use that money for other purchases.

You mean you don't have ~$30,000 to spare? But I guess you are right. If you had that kind of money, it would be better spent on other things, such as getting Kirk a nice new 1Ds Mk IV and a few L lenses to replace his Nikon gear which has been, erm, "accidentally" "misplaced".

Make sure you look into the First African Baptist Church. It is a great piece of history. ALso I recommend the horse carriage tour if you take one. It is a lot nicer than the bus

Haha, I can imagine a Christmas morning for a year you have been 'bad', boxes full of Canon gear for you, and all your Nikon stuff disappeared without a trace. Santa wears red, which is also Canon's color, hmmm! (Not that you still believe in Santa, but we never know. )

Now, now, Steven (monk3Y) is a Noink just like you, while I am a Canon. How could I possibly be Ken Rockwell? Also, Steven's photos have the saturation profile signature of KR. Mine do not.

I actually woke up today and shot with the Zeiss 21 and 1Ds MK III.
