Canon vs Nikon (Do you want to be the TF?) thread)

Good Morning Guys I was Ken Rockwell when I was still using Canon

i'll post a bunch of eye hurting vivid color photos here of my past life in the next few days... they are not at all pretty but they are vivid <-- that's what matters right?

I am here to capture color, not scene or light...just color.

Will look forward to your posts in the evening, your morning. As for the color issue I think that Canon is far superior as you can always tone things down easier than add color which was never captured, can't you?

Ah, but to capture colour you must capture light. Light is colour (among other things).

nooo..I have to capture color to capture light coz I'm cool like that.

wow!! I did not seem to notice it before, but photos hosted on FB really suck... not that my photos really don't suck, but they become suckier when hosted on FB hehe

Ken Rockwell does not need to capture light in order to capture color. Ken Rockwell can capture color with or without light, and even colors that are outside of the visible spectrum. The rest of us are simply too inferior to see those colors.

Steven is most definitely Ken Rockwell!

Why do you even need a lens to capture light, when you can just invite it over to your house.

oh yeah, oh nice, thats sweet, were are teh pics!?? oh wait, someone only took an iPad with him on vacation ^_^ lol, but ya, that doesn't take away from the fact that I'm ultra jealous of waking up to such conditions

Make sure you look into the First African Baptist Church. It is a great piece of history. ALso I recommend the horse carriage tour if you take one. It is a lot nicer than the bus

If I head back to Savannah, I really want to try out more Southern foods. There's so many places to eat. Thanks Kirk.

I use that excuse all the time " no my photos are fine. It is FB I swear"
NO they drop the IQ down a lot

Next time you are there ask about the little hide away place down there. I can not remember the name but this description will be recognized

We ate at small place in the Market Place area. I heard that Lady & Sons is over rated too. So, we didn't bother. We plan to eat at the Crab Shack since my whole fam loves seafood.

hahaha... I did compare them on another thread (flickr & FB). and they were miles apart
