Too bright on your LCD though? its not on mine, but my laptop's LCD is already yellowish.

my last trip was to cancun where i spent 7 days, 5 were at the police station.

they now have a billboard pic up at the airport of me holding the jail bars with a caption that reads " don't let this happen to you "

Cancun is pretty popular even in the old days... when I hear Cancun I immediately think of Thongs

well second day there i rented a scooter, got pulled, over cop took $250

went to the station to complain, cost $250 to leave

third day got pulled over again, tried to flee, got caught, cop took $400

fourth day, i'm in the market ,get harrassed so i punch someone, another $150

fifth day, scooter is stolen, get taken to the police station while they investigate,play poker with the judge, he takes $1000, but i have to stay there till i pay.

next day my wife comes with money and they gave me a ride to the airport and put me on a plane.

the cops even called me "el loco" for some reason, maybe because i was always yelling at them...lol

wow man!! is it that bad in Cancun? Its hell of a lot safer here...

you should ask others who have been here, people are friendly (very friendly) specially to foreigners. and most know how to speak english (broken english of course).

Check out Boracay & Palawan. they are the most famous vacation spots here in our country.

where I live, Cebu, its the #1 tourist destination since its in the middle of the whole country/archipelago, and you could get to anywhere from here.

i don't think they treat all tourists that way just me i was a PITA to them, most people just pay and shut up.

Police here don't ever arrest tourists except when they are being excessively unruly or something or drunk. otherwise, most people here including government agencies try to please all tourists. hehe

you should consider coming here next time
