Good morning guys, I'm up early, its 5.30am here :)

for $1300 it better be VERY good...

I kinda want a D700 and a 24-120 f/4 VR now

have you looked at the samples posted in their site? not impressive at all, I'm kinda disappointed, I mean, its they sample to showcase their lens, and they chose those photos... I am actually waiting for this lens also.. depends on reviews, either this or the 24-70 :D

EDIT:
ya 24-120 looks good but I'll wait for reviews. thats a huge focal range covered. Lets wait and see how it performs.

check the link I posted above Mastamarek, first photos, not really good.

Morning Steven! It's afternoon here and I'm eating a late lunch at work.

The samples are not impressive but not bad. I've noticed that with Canon as well. Sometimes they post sample photos that are supposed to showcase a new lens' capabilities but instead don't even do justice to the lens.

Hey, hey, now, what am I supposed to do if everyone in here starts getting a D700?

yeah, I should probably wait for the proper reviews of the lens. I don't like the photos of the buildings on the river bank. others were ok.

hahaha... look at us and drool... don;t worry though, D700 will be obsolete in no time.

Good morning KR :D

nah... krepta, all those cameras have too much pixels, I am a Nikon fanboy now, 12mp is all I need (hahaha) and for that matter, all those who wants a D700 needs.

5D MKIII? I bet it will still have that 9-point focus system.. :p

no need to admit anything KR, my pictures have proven it. I did not even know Ken lives in the Philippines
