Well, right now it isn't going to happen. This is now and you're dreaming of a lens that Canon may never release. The only possibilty atm is a 24-70 IS or w/o. I have this feeling Canon has something up their sleeves for Photokina in Sept. but, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well apparently Canon have a 14-24mm patent out there somewhere, and I am pretty sure they'll make something since the noink one is going so well.

Personally I'd be more surprised if they didn't make one.

Basically, I would rather a 2nd hand 14L over a lens that doesn't even let me AF.

the 24-70 II/IS whatever it will be, will come out eventually I suppose.

Not really dreaming about a 14-24 though, my 16-35 is good enough.

I hardly ever shoot landscapes.

I like to shoot kids... but unfortunately there're laws against it... so I like to take photos of them with my camera.

Go ahead SN it's okay. Of you join Nikon you can wear a black ninja suit. We don't use red ringed stuff. Oh and you can either have a gold belt or a Mr.T necklace. Of coarse if you go with the Mr. T route you may have to do a snickers ad.

I'm not bi anymore but, I think it's good try other options. A black ninja suit with red stripes? Hmmm....
