if D3s had a canon mount and a canon logo on top, I would be all over it ^_^ otherwise its just kinna ... unused potential with all those nikkor primes.

What prime would you want that they don't have?

35L, 50L, 85L and 135L. everything else is pretty decent over there. but these are my fav primes. 2 of these should be updated in the future as well. I'm not sure how they can improve on that 35L but I'll be all over it.

they have an 85L prime, a 24L prime, and are announcing a 35L prime in a few days.

I think that shot was taken with the Leica 50mm Noctilux 0.95. An extrmely awesome lens. No 50mm can touch it. :D

One can dream  Ive never even held one!

if teh bokeh-gate on that 85 nikkor lens is in fact true, then they are no where near to even touching canon's 85L. lol. Also, I really hope canon's next revisions to their 50L is an f1.0 aperture ^_^ I mean, they have done it before so its not impossible and that would be another step to keep bokeh fanatics on their wagon ^_^ I just can't imagine the price of that lens. to make it well build, sharp wide open at a acceptable level of CA.

And lets no forget quick focus. Some of the primes arent, should i say, speed deamons

I honestly think the 85L is one of the most overrated lenses i've ever used.

The price tag on that is mind blowing.

AF was so slow, shooting at f/1.2 is overrated since the DOF is so thin, it's borderline unusable.
