Non! Je ne parle pas la français. Je suis americain. Je parle suilement l'anglais.

Nice try! There's just one grammatical error and one spelling error, but I don't need to point them out. You're wiser than me after all, and I'm afraid to make you grumpy!

Hi Martin Hi Marek, I think I scared everyone off...

You are a creepy kind of guy, KC, creeping up on your girlfriend in that photo you posted, creeping up on us in here... ;)

Steven, your food photos put mine to shame. :(

I'm always afraid to use wider apertures when shooting food. I know that if I nail the focus, the shallower DOF from shooting wide open would produce a more appealing photo, but I have this sort of phobia of missing focus and usually stop down to f/4-f/5.6.

My GF just takes the camera and go's off with it. She loved the 70-200 2.8 is ii with the 7D. Never complained about the weight! That's why I laugh at grown men who say the 70-200 2.8 is ii is heavy! My GF is 5'1, 115 pounds and laughs at the weight. Shame on all those men who complain!

As Mr. Governator would say, they are all a bunch of sissy men.

to begin with KC, she is a Nikon fan and I was the Canon NuT...

Was she the one who made you convert to Nikon? This also makes me think of the Nikon Girl music video (external link).

you are being humble Alex... haha I shot that at a food competition a while back... :D I love using wide aperture, too bad my lens is not really sharp at f/1.4-1.8 so I usually use f/2-2.5..but I am satisfied with it :D

maybe she had some influence in me...but I started looking at Nikon when I noticed the D700...and how cheap it is compared to the 5D MKII and how good its AF etc. etc... plus one of the person I look up to is also using Nikon :D

haha I won't count on it Alex... Philippine magazines is enough.. I have my limits

the photos were not really printed very good, I am not sure but I think they did not tweaked it one bit and it came out dark :( or maybe the printer can't render my uber saturated photos.. that's why it came out a bit dark :(

I have about half of my photos from Boston processed. I should have them done and uploaded to Flickr by mid weekend, and I'll post up a bunch of food pics here for you to drool over, lol. Honestly, I think mine look amateurish and yours have the quality of food pics in magazines. But I guess it's a learning process and I am trying to improve!

Processing a few photos in LR right now! :)

I should go to bed soon though. At least it is Friday tomorrow!

hahaha... :p yeah I was thinking maybe it went past the color that the printer can render and instead tried to correct it.

These are two of the photo they used..and those are indeed blindingly saturated hahaha
