Je suis americain. Je parle suilement l'anglais. Nice try! There's just one grammatical error and one spelling error, but I don't need to point them out. You're wiser than me after all, and I'm afraid to make you grumpy! KCY wrote in post #10881649 Hi Martin Hi Marek, I think I scared everyone off... You are a creepy kind of guy, KC, creeping up on your girlfriend in that photo you posted, creeping up on us in here... monk3y wrote in post #10882388 guys, who wants to join me for lunch? I'll be having a..uhhmm I don;t know what this is ![]() and ![]() Steven, your food photos put mine to shame. vipergts831 wrote in post #10882464 My GF just takes the camera and go's off with it. She loved the 70-200 2.8 is ii with the 7D. Never complained about the weight! That's why I laugh at grown men who say the 70-200 2.8 is ii is heavy! My GF is 5'1, 115 pounds and laughs at the weight. Shame on all those men who complain! As Mr. Governator would say, they are all a bunch of sissy men. monk3y wrote in post #10882492 to begin with KC, she is a Nikon fan and I was the Canon NuT... Was she the one who made you convert to Nikon? This also makes me think of the Nikon Girl music video monk3y wrote in post #10882795 is there such a Thing? I thought only Kenrockwell has a left handed Nikon Camera? And it comes with a grip made of the phallus hide of an elephant! Alex | flickr

I know that if I nail the focus, the shallower DOF from shooting wide open would produce a more appealing photo, but I have this sort of phobia of missing focus and usually stop down to f/4-f/5.6. you are being humble Alex... haha I shot that at a food competition a while back... krepta wrote in post #10882966 Was she the one who made you convert to Nikon? This also makes me think of the Nikon Girl music video maybe she had some influence in me...but I started looking at Nikon when I noticed the D700...and how cheap it is compared to the 5D MKII and how good its AF etc. etc... plus one of the person I look up to is also using Nikon hahaha yeah FJ LOVE wrote in post #10882979 3am going to bed good nite Good Night Martin krepta wrote in post #10882987 Good night Martin! how about you Alex?

I love using wide aperture, too bad my lens is not really sharp at f/1.4-1.8 so I usually use f/2-2.5..but I am satisfied with it ![]() I have about half of my photos from Boston processed. I should have them done and uploaded to Flickr by mid weekend, and I'll post up a bunch of food pics here for you to drool over, lol. Honestly, I think mine look amateurish and yours have the quality of food pics in magazines. But I guess it's a learning process and I am trying to improve! monk3y wrote in post #10883023 how about you Alex? Processing a few photos in LR right now! Alex | flickr
