I'm down for an all inclusive trip to an island resort!

Cool, you just need to follow these steps.
1. Work for fed ex
2. steal a crippled kids bike to make your deliveries.
3. Hook up with Helen Hunt
4. Get in a plane during a really bad storm
Oh and make sure you pack a ball. I think Wilson would be a good name for it.

Oh and get use to going.... you know in the woods

1, 2 and 4 are already done. Three out of four seems good enough for the prize right?

Heh.. I just got back from a month in China so I'm more than used to ****ing in the woods :p

Julian: It's quite a remarkable lens and unbelievably sharp at F4. I nearly traded it this week for a 70-200 Mk2 knowing I was buying the 16-35 but I couldn't do it knowing there's nothing else UWA like it (maybe the 14/2.8 but I don't like heavy distortion). You should totally buy one ;) 17 TS-E Goodness - http://farm5.static.flickr.com …41659407_39f7b79c65_b.jpg (external link)

The 14 and 17 ts-e are very nice lenses. One thing that puts me off on buying them is that you can't use filters. The other option is the 24 ts-e II which can take a filter ring. If there's some way to use filters on the 17 ts-e, I'll definitely buy one. :)

I have seriously be thinking about running both systems.

Canon has the great primes that Nikon has failed to answer, like the 400 f/5.6 and the wonderfully portable 70-200 f/4IS
and Nikon can do things that Canon has not figured out how to do, like autofocus

Auto-what? Is that what that little green box on the circular dial is on the Rebel series? :p

After using the 17L so much I've become a bad@$$ MF'er

^^ I assume "MF'er" = Manual Focuser... Since it's the only way to do it with Canon.

Booya! :p

I heard Nikon puts a piece of Chuck Norris' hair inside all its bodies to handle the noise reduction.

Yes. This also gives them the ability to squeeze into extremely tight denim cases and somehow keep full mobility
