That is some insane power. That is one strong mobile dyno to handle a 1600lb/ft pull. Do you have any other shots of it? Underhood?

The dyno used has has trucks on it that put out well over that. That is really all I have right now. But it is in quite a few issues of Diesel Power Magazine. It's called project Godzilla.

wowzers...1600ft/lb torque?

I have to assume it's built to the hilt; what are the capabilities w/ just upgraded parts? I'm looking at an F250 powerstroke next year

Talk to me before you buy. I see you are in SoCal and I can score you a truck if you want new, or I can point you in the right direction for a used one. I help run www.SoCAPS.com (external link) which is the largest Ford Powerstroke club in California.

That truck has a modded fuel system, modded turbos, custom tuning, and a hint of nitrous. The crank, rods, and pistons are all stock and can support more HP than that.

It is 690 without the giggle gas. This engine is the 6.4L made from 2008-2010 and has proven itself well. The new 2011 6.7L was just released about 1 month ago and from what I hear, should even be stronger than the 6.4L

Below is a pic of under the hood. NOT MY IMAGE!!!! You can see a few special things like the custom blow off valve and intercooler tubes. But it is actually very stealthy at a glance. I have a video linked below of a nice little night time run just after the mods were done. Dont forget we are talking about an 8000LB truck here...

His best HP with custom tuning, exhaust, and intake was 580. I drove it with that tune and it was just silly. Amazing what can be had with 2 bolt ons and a good tuner. He did install head studs just to make sure the heads stayed put.

I'd love to see that motor in a streamliner out at Bonneville. :)

I love stuff like this!

What's it cost, about, to get trucks into that HP/speed range?

D300 w/ a couple of lenses and flashes.
Shoot Nikon, but wouldn't mind a few Canon things
