I saw a lexar compact flash, the udma 16 gb one with 35 mbps of transfer rate, which is similarly priced to the sandisk equivalent, but no udma. I used sandisk all the way from sd cards in my xsi until now, where i use a sandisk 8 gb ultra card for my 5d2, so i have no experience with lexar. Anyone have thoughts on this card?

I use Lexar cards with no problems. You also have to have a UDMA card reader to take advantage of the speed.

Do udma also have difference in the relation to the camera buffer? Will udma enabled card have higher actual rating than non udma card but with same speed? I never use any udma card before so yeah, i'm a little bit at lost here. Thanks btw, i'll buy udma card reader.

I use one in my 7d. I’m very happy with it. I'm exceedingly happy with the fast upload rate to my Mac with the Firewire 800 reader.

I've got the Lexar 16gb UDMA 233x card, which works like a charm. Never had any problems with it in my 50D, and in my mates Nikon D200 (or schools Nikon D200's).
I'd buy it again if I'd need more card space.
