Don't fight it, get close to the screen and just relax.

they make lenses that you can put on your film or digital slr and a viewer for the prints that are much easier on the eyes. using these should make it possible to concentrate more on the shot and allow you to take your time and seet up the shot.

for the ones who don't know.

how to view the image in 3D
1. Hold your finger 4-5 inches in front of your nose.
2. Focus on your finger - in the distance the two images become one stereo image, with the separate images still visible on either side.
3. Slowly focus on the center image without reconverting the eyes. The center image becomes sharp and in 3D.

here's a couple more from today

That tractor is so cool. I've never had a problem doing this, even when I was a kid. :)

You need more DOF to make that one work. There's nothing in there to give it depth, so there's almost no 3D effect.

Hope you don't mind if I point a couple of things out DepthOfField?

1. Left image is slightly out of focus. This spoils stereo images - I guess the brain can't understand why your eyesight has rapidly deteriorated in one eye?!
2. it looks like you used the on-board flash? The only time you should ever get away with a flash is if it doesn't move between shots. i.e. off camera on a stand or tripod etc..
3. As mentioned above it is hard to perceive depth. Try taking the picture at an angle to the lions head maybe, to show any protrusions (nose etc.), or use other objects to lead into the subject?

Also looking at the images it doesn't look like you moved the camera quite enough between shots. I find close shots requires at least an inch.

It is critical with 3d photography that both images are identical. That means exposure, focus and as far as possible composition.

Sorry if it sounds like I am having a go, but just trying to help!
