Not the prettiest of birds, but I hope you enjoy these.

Great shots. I think these birds ARE pretty in flight, just look at their wings not their face.

The quality in all of these is superb Scott. You're only going to get this from a friend but please watch the very close cropping. #4 would be stunning if given just a little more room especially in front.

I think I go along with Stan... but in retrospect, that face has a heck of lot of character... sort of like us old timers :)... lovely fliers Scott, they really are a beautiful bird in flight... pretty set.

These are all great, but the first is a wall hanger for sure.

Not the prettiest? Not by a long shot, buddy. However, to another wood stork, they look great. To them, we are probably not the prettiest.

Great shooting, Scott. You know how much I hate to agree with Joe, but in this case I must. Give them a little more room to fly into. Next time you see me, feel free to give me a slap on the head. :)

Excellent shots Scott. I saw some on TV last night, mixed in with some kind of egrets and oil sludge. :(

Thanks Joe and I agree wholeheartedly with the critique....the problem is that all of these are virtually full frame and I was too lazy to add some canvas in front.

Thanks Dave....the problem with us old timers is that its not just our heads that look ugly :)

Thanks Steve....I still think an adult Roseate Spoonbill wins the prize for ugliest head & best body!!

Thanks Mitch and I sure hate to see the daily updates on the devastation of the oil spill in the gulf. Its hard to believe it takes a month to cap it.
