I need something that gives me the most light coverage. Are those globe diffusers available for our speedlights?

Yes they are available, but are you sure that's the best solution?

Get an empty gallon milk (or water) jug, cut it to fit your speedlight, and voila! Instant diffuser that does the same work as a Gary Fong diffuser! :D

You can drink the milk (or water), and get a free modifier with a little bit of elbow grease for probably 3 bucks :D.

Yes... I'm into 360º panos and I need the most coverage I can since my sigma 8mm covers 180º

gotcha.

There's the "classic" stuff from Gary Fong and Interfit has a globe in their Strobies product line.

Or you could follow Zansho's advice about making your own from a milk jug.

Bulk Soup containers work great too. Go buy a couple pints of wonton soup and you're good to go.

Just get a stofen omnibounce. Just as effective if used correctly and you don't look like a tool. :)

You embarrassed using a plastic milk carton taped to your flash when your shooting weddings?

If you go with the Omnibouce or its knock offs, cut the front out of it.
That means max light going toward whatever its aimed at and the sides are giving some fill light.
They eat a lot of light. I think I measured about 2 stops when I was doing some tests.

I like the Demp flip-it. Its a bounce card on steroids. :-)

However, it does keep light away from the back of the camera/flash. If you want a true chinese lantern effect then omnibounce is as good as any option.

Who cares what people think. Some high end guys I know use the soft foam from Michaels. People still pay them. :-)

Correct. :)

I have used the stofen, the Fong, several DIY versions with foam paper, and several of the lumiquest products. They all did a good job and have different advantages. I like the lumiquest stuff and the omnibounce the best. If I have lower ceilings and white walls, I'd rather just bounce. :)
