Pretty sure that model is very well weather-sealed...It won't block all the water completely but it *will* help. There's a chance no water got in at all. Look at the elements and see if you can find water. Use a flashlight and such and check it out.
Other than that, use the rest of the homeowners insurance to get a new one.

I was about to say that it looks like you have the IS version which has weather seals which probably helped in this case. I'd let it sit in the bag of rice with paper towels over the elements so you don't get rice dust on them but it allows the water if present to get sucked out. It should probably be fine
