2 healing brush on some blemish
3 some burn
4 quick mask select eye/invert/selectiveco​lor/neutral/play with sliders/set blend mode linear add or to your taste, set opacity add dodge if you like to side of eye.
5 curves adj layer
6 b&w adj layer set to luminosity adjust to taste
7 shadow/highlight adj layer

same steps as above only add two layers above...1--scratch--2--graffiti both with masks and clipped to layer. Adjust mask and blend modes to taste.

Thanks to Cameron's tuts, I applied those to one from an e-session today. I'm going to go back and touch it up but I'm happy with the results for my first time.

on photoshop workflow? I normally adjust layers, contrast, curves, then highlight shadows to specific parts of the image until I get the look I like. I don't do anything crazy.

Here's my first attempt at trying to add a texture layer to an image. This was using a concrete wall JPG as the texture. Trying to get a gritty, grunge look to this.
