Well had my first real experience with shooting a stationary car. I did a lot of editing on these just to see what I could come up with. I am looking for some criticism because like I said this was my first and I want to improve each time. I was having flash issues as well so these are all natural light.

More on my flickr (external link) and I still have a whole lot more to upload.

love the last one, it'd be even better if you could get rid of the car in the reflection!

My favorite is the third one, last one has a too busy background. My eyes keep going to the wall instead of the car. Also the car is reflecting all that graffiti which seems to get in the way. You used a CP? With one you could have manipulated all those reflections.

Thanks! I really like it as well, I got to take it for a test drive during the shoot as well which was a lot of fun :)

I did use a CP but I have to admit it was a Sunpak one that I got for free and it is terrible. Do you have any suggestions brand wise? I know Hoya and Tiffen etc make them just not sure which one to go with.

The Sunpak one is really terrible because it removes some reflections but then shows others, for example I can't have the window have no reflections as well as the car body.

The first one hurts looking at. Do something with the background. Second one is poster material but the 4th is too busy for me. Try desaturating the BG a bit perhaps?

Well to be honest the CP also has its limitations. You have reflections from the wall, the other car and a red building. The CP could eliminate some but maybe not all of them.. I had a Tiffen one and it did the work but I accidentally damaged it. I got an Ebay one for 9.99 and it seems to do the work too! LOL! With a Hoya or a Tiffen you will be alright.

Cool thanks, know that you mention those things and I look at them I can definetly see where you are coming from. I will re-edit them tonight with reflections removed and remove some saturation etc.

Mine is a Zeikos CP BTW. Even comes with a lifetime warranty...not bad for 9.99.
