Anyone use these ? I was at a wedding and the "pro" had one .
Can not decide on one or a ring flash .
The ring should be good for flower close-ups and faces but the lite panel - maybe as a better fill ?

Are you referrring to the Interfit litepanels or similar unit with fluorescent bulbs?

Sorry , the one I saw was attached to camera where flash goes . Kind of like the light that was used on movie cameras .
I found them on ebay under litepanels - one word .

those ring flashes are quite heavy. I think there was a thread about them not long ago, you might want to check. when i see them used for portraits, it creeps me out as the catchlights are alien like... don't know anything about those litepanels.

suecassidy , thanks I thought the flash cord would let me carry battery in my vest or shirt .

Well , I found some others - page 86 - shutterbug mag. June 2010 .
Supposed to come with rechargable batteries , charger and bracket .

I ordered 2 with brackets and faster shipping = $55 + change . Will post when they come - if before friday - have a birthday party saturday . A few grad parties next week , I wanted 2 because one mite cause shadow .
