With the other grips, if I release the camera grip, it means I don't want to hold on to the camera, so I'm free to put the camera down, put it in my bag, change lenses, or whatever. I can also quickly grab another camera body with it. All with the same hand. The ProMaster requires that you unlatch it with your other hand. - Ed

You'll have to let us know what you think of it. I love mine for walking and some other situations. The one I got is perfect for what I got it for.....walking 2-3 miles with my camera and one lens.
