Can you better describe what you are trying to accomplish? ...mounting a monopod on top of some base which is on the ground? What monopod, do you have a photo of the end that you have interest in, so some adapter might be found which is suitable? You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost! I think that'll be monumentally unstable, even assuming that you could find a fitting that could handle the load. If you really want to go through with this, I'd suggest getting a couple of lengths of PVC pipe, one of about a foot long and big enough around to fit the monopod's base and the other big enough to hold the first and long enough to extend the full height of the tripod and about a foot beyond. Plug the end of the smaller pipe and glue it inside the top of the larger pipe, then lash the assembly to the tripod and fit the monopod into the tube at the top. But, like I said, it'll be unsteady at best. Jon
