Second one is best, as it contains less. Don't have the means to check EXIF now, but if you used a tripod, then hold away some of the distractions next time, they destroy the images.

Funny how we all see things differently.thats what makes it interesting :D For me, the first shows the flower surrounded by blooms of like, as the second is not as compelling, and the blurred bud in the FG doesn't add to the lily itself.

This one wasn't cropped I don't think. There was a slight breeze and it just happened to move it to the edge. I am wanting to retake some today to see if I get better photos of them. These were my first this year using my tripod. I've been doing handheld all year, and finally worked on my tripod (it's old) and got it working and steady. Perhaps I can post some new ones this afternoon and post them here for C&C. Thanks so much!

I agree here. I like the one with all the flowers in the background best as well. The one that is just a flower and 2 buds( one of which is blurred) doesn't really do it for me... seems empty or something. I like it but it's not as interesting to me as the one with all the color in the background.

I will admit that the blurred bud should have perhaps been held out, but I do like the color the background offers in the first photo. Thanks!
