Sorry, this is also posted in the Wildlife thread, but I was told that there are more spider experts here.
I happened to see this on my bedroom wall. I was quite a distance away and the flash seemed to have stunned it a bit. Managed to get it removed.
Any ideas on the type of spider? It was about 5cm long and I'm in the UK. As it was very late night and I was very sleepy, I had it on the Macro setting and thus the flash was fired and it was on 55mm. This is why it is a bit overexposed.
