What the heck does everyone do on those seriously boring days when there's nothing to shoot, nowhere to go, nothing to do?? I've been doctoring images, doing stuff I normally wouldn't do. You know, the stuff you do when your bored, and then don't save it. You experiment with processing and see how out-of-whack you can make things.

These aren't too out there, but I thought they were kinda cool. Whatcha think??

Well I would have cloned out the party boat in the BG of the first image. And the BG-blur of the second one takes care of the boat, but there is a wierd "halo" effect around the car that's a bit messy. The animals images I just don't care for at all.

The halo is from not doing the selection tight enough to the car, I did it with the mouse so it didn't come out precise. The halo sucks, but I figure what the heck, it was done out of boredom. As for the boat, I thought about getting rid of it, I already got rid of mailboxes that were in the shot, should have gone all the way and got rid of the boat.

The animal images, well, I like them, but certainly wouldn't be offended if they got ripped apart in critique. I didn't notice until today that the persons head in the right bottom corner of the polar bear shot has some weird thing happening to it. Like I said, these were done out of boredom, and I didn't expect them to be hung in a museum. I thought it would be fun to see what people thought.

Thanks for the comments.

Can't, not my car. Wish it was though. Belongs to the guy who lives across from the in-laws. A very sweet car in person, let me tell you. My images, the originals and the goofy-processing ones, don't do it justice.

Here's the shot with the boat gone, how's it look??

The majority of the time I use Paint Shop Pro X2, the bear and polar bear shots got PSPX2 and a Lightroom preset to accentuate what I did in PSPX2.

I'm loving that second version. Now that's a nice conversion! Maybe just a touch more work in that boat corner, but that's all I can say. Otherwise you have a winner!

I whipped it out fast, there's a few areas that could still use some work where the boat was. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, so I just cloned the area and kinda half-assed matching things.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
