The 2 shots were taken using a 1D4 with the Canon 500mm/f4 + 1.4X TC. 700mm focal length. Mounted on a WH-200 Wimberley Head. Tv Mode, 1/500th, AI SERVO

I heard the sound of the inbound geese first and swung the camera around to attempt to capture at least a few of the geese touching down and landing on the pond. I'm having fun with the Wimberley and I realize that practice makes perfect. Anyone who is a seasoned Wimberley user please chime in and share your knowledge of getting better at tracking moving birds! Thanks!
