Had the opportunity to shoot the national 16s in the Atlanta area - still going through the photos. Here are a couple I thought were interesting with the remnants of the tennis ball fuzz and sweat from the player. Shot with the 70-200L 2.8:

Pretty sharp, good exposures and great intensity from the player. What's not to like!

Nice! Was it raining or were the courts wet? Looks like theres alot of water coming from the ball. I wouldve thought they wouldve atleast rolled the courts to get some of the water off or atleast postpone/rain check the event so they dont have to play in the rain. The rain can really kill tennis. I love the sport though, Ive been playing for 8 years. Id really love to go out and shoot one of these events! None the less, love the shots!

Thanks for the comments. No rain at all, just sweat. It was around 90 degrees and humid. Here are a couple of more pics from the match, you can see sweat droplets from her opponent and another of her on the dry courts:

Very nice, that first one is super sharp. I got a similar shot a few years ago at the WImbledon final, it's just a little soft for my liking though(although the fact it's Nadal kinda makes up for it!)
