Agreed. Even better, don't screw the darn things on so tight. With the ones I use at least, the UV is on the lens loosely. The CPL goes on it even more loosely. I adjust the polarization in the same direction it screws on so I am never loosening it of course. There is no force acting on it. Seems to me in my divine 3 years of photography experience (I am smiling) that folks put these filters on too tight. I have never had one come close to sticking since applying less pressure when tightening.
