Wow, took my eyes awhile to figure out head and tail - at first I thought your photos were OOF, but it was my eyes figuring out the mantis!
Wonderfully surreal.

interesting there is motion blur on the feelers coming out of the head, you would think using flash unless as the highest power would have stopped all motion in the cool looking guy!
