Where is the best place to get an extra NP-E3 batter for cheap? Are the off brand batteries weather sealed like the Canon? Thanks!

How well does the Lenmar NPE3 attach to the body? is there any gap at all?

On the Delkin equivelent I have, the attachment around the camera isn't as snug as the OEM and overhands a little bit.

Is the Lenmar snug and flush to the body?

The battery that I have fits like the original. I did have a problem with the locking handle getting loose but i called Thomas Dist. and the replaced it. It does have a 3 year warranty too.

As a result of this post on Lenmar Batteries I ordered one off Amazon for about $33.00

Here is the description on Amazon

"Lenmar DMCE3 Digital Camera Equivalent to the Canon 7084A001, Canon NP-E3 Batteries"

It fit nice and tight and I used for a shoot yesterday. 1700+ shots and it still shows full on the battery.

I refreshed it twice before using.

just an fyi, i have 3 aftermarket batteries and i was ready to toss them all, they wouldn't make good contact inside the camera.
the canon one worked perfectly.
just sitting still the camera would shut off, tap on the battery and it would come back on.
very annoying. lost more than a few photos.
anyway i took off the plastic cap wwith the latch, 2 tiny screws. and inside the plastic cap is a steel plate, held on by 2 tiny screws, they were really loose on all 3 batteries.
i tightened them up and snugged up the latch screw and now they work properly.
i would say that the screws were about 1-2 turns loose.
