trying to shoot car with one strobe....

hey guys im new to the forum n not to sure where to start this thread. but heres my problem. im trying to shoot pics of my car but i only have one strobe. now i know that i have to take several exposures, and place the strobe in different spots. what i wanna know is if there is a tutorial out there that teaches you how to combine those photos? im also preety new to photoshop. thanks for the help guys!

yeah, I want to know this too. there's a guy in flickr pretty famous for this shooting an S2000. Wonderful job. Bump for this one.

First Camera on tripod, make sure nothing moves
Then position ur flash where u want

Grab the 2 images(1 image per strobe) and open them in photoshop
Then drag one image on top of the other image and align them together
Then add a layer mask and use the brush, either black or white.
Paint away the flash/strobe parts until the 2nd image comes through.
Its really fairly simple. You probably want to do simple edits before you do the blending of the 2 flashes, just make sure every RAW editing setting is exactly the same... WB, Clarity, Vibrance, etc.

in order to avoid bight glare reflected from all the shiny metal surfaces, bounce you flash off a piece of white presentation board (foam core board ) get as big a piece as you can, and then play with the angles you hold it at so the least glare gets seen by the camera
