Battery that plugs directly into the wall?

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been told that there's a battery that has a wire that hooks up to the wall directly, so you can operate the camera (Canon 5D) without having to replace the battery when it runs out. What is this called? A link perhaps?

Not a battery, but an AC adapter for the camera.
