Office Damsel

I went upstairs in to my office today to find this little Damsel Fly on a mouse mat; so I got the camera out and took a few snaps, I coaxed it on to my digit and managed to get a few finger end shots as well. I wasn't ready when it arched up ( No.8 ) so I just snapped as I was already framed, looks like it's trying to mate with the mouse mat?

Man, excellent shots! Especially the one looking into its back. What lens?

The closer ones were taken using a Canon mp-e 65mm and the not so close ones were taken with a Canon 100mm macro.

I've got the 100 macro. I might have to look into 65mm.

Thanks for the comments, I don't get to do macro shots as often as I'd like.

Brilliant textures, especially the eyes! But I gotta tell you, those "bug eyes" are creeping me out!!!

It makes me think of the scene in the movie, "The Fly" starring Jeff Goldblume, when he films himself, as the fly, eating!
