Lens For Wedding

I want to take some casual shots at my Granddaughters wedding later this month. I only have the two Canon kit lenses, 18-55 and 55-250, which would be the best for all round use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

18-55 is a better all purpose lens.

Your wider lens (18-55) is better for setting the scene type of pictures and your 55-250 would be better for taking pictures of guests etc. I would use the 250 to keep out of peoples way and that way you will get better images of people more relaxed and not so worried about having their photograph taken.
