Excellet series Scott, and I love the color of the water. I like the patterns on the wings of this bird. Nice shooting!

Beautiful shots Scott......I was fortunate enough to see 2 of these within the last 2 winters at my favorite little marsh, I love the call they make.

Unfortunately you are caught 'in the middle', they summer north of you and winter south of you. However they fly over twice a year :)

Thanks Stan....they were about 200' from a forested shore, so shooting from the boat back towards shore made for the nice BG's.

These are spectacular, they make me want to go on a Great Northern Diver (yup, thats what us crazy brits call them) hunt, but they dont breed here. Hopefully i can find a breeding pair on my trip to iceland later this summer. I am truly envious :lol: It's these kind of shots i hope to one day achieve
