Looking around for a CF wallet as I've been switching bags alot.

I have 8x CF cards right now. It's more than enough for me atm. Maybe a 10 slot wallet?

Any suggestions on a wallet?

I saw this
http://cgi.ebay.com …ain_0&hash=item23068a87b1 (external link)

But I'm not sure if it holds CF cards, they look like they barely hold thin SD cards. (even if the description says it fits CF)

Or I was going to get this one

Any other I should look at? Any of them are hardcase, aluminum look? Possible waterproof? Looked at Otterbox but they don't have anything that has inserts

Get the Pixel Pocket Rocket. I have one full PPR and three PeeWee PPRs. Very convenient.

Think Tank without a doubt. Very well made. Has a slot for business cards too and clips on to virtually anything.

Cheers

Agreed ... the Think Tank wallets are great...

It appears that Adorama Camera has them. There may be others as well that have them in stock if TT is out of them. TT web site has a page of all their distributor stores so you might find one near you that has it.

Go to B&H Photo's website and order two Gepe waterproof cases. They hold 4 CF cards each, are hard sided, waterproof, and come in about 4 colors. Very slick.

I use a couple of these to hold my cards. They hold 4 cards and do a decent job.

Another vote for the Gepe waterproof case. Work great, and if you happen to be shooting in or near water, they're indispensable. I have a TT pixel pocket rocket as well...its okay, but I wouldn't trust the plastic hook with the wallet hanging externally from a pack or belt loop. If you can secure it to an internal loop in a pack, it'd be more secure.

We use the Think Tank Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rockets. Excellent little product, well made and compact.

And for good reason. They're great!

Adorama has them.

Think tank for sure.

The problem with a lot of the waterproof holders that open with a hinge is the cards can often loosen up and the wind can take them if you are not careful. I've had two different brands of them and finally gave up on them.

I've read good things of the thinktank card holder, but one downside is the velcro that holds it all together. Apparently its very good velcro and tough - which is good but, makes a heck of a noise and can't be opened quieter like a clip or zipper can be.

With that in mind I've considered these two - but never made a choice:

http://www.amazon.co.uk …cs&qid=1275758850&sr=8-29 (external link)

Both hold 4 cards (what I currently have and don't plan to increase) with the first having space for 4 batteries whilst hte second has waterproofing. Anyone ever used either of them?

I am surprised that no one has recommended the Pelican 0940 Memory Card case. It's built by Pelican, so it's been designed to handle the elements plus abuse.

It is a bit bulky though which is the only downside.

I love my thinktank card holders.

I have the PeeWeePixelPocketRocket, and my wife has the full size one.
the full size is a bit bulky, but is great for weddings, where we may go through 25gb of cards in a day.

NOTE - when shooting weddings, put a new card in the camera before the start of the ceremony, if you only have small cards, take a second card out of the holder.
the velcro is very loud, and you dont want to be tearing it open in a quiet church
