well after a lack of support from datacolor
and my extreme disappointment in the spyder 3 monitor hardware
i have decided to return the studio SR kit to amazon for a refund
bit of a shame as i really rate the spyder print hardware/software, but the monitor calibration hardware is an extreme letdown - just so inaccurate in my experiance and not allowing the accuracy of my dell u2711 to shine
i have just acquired a eye one pro device for half the price of the datacolor kit.
obviously i have not received it yet but i think it is the basic software what has limited printer profiling options.
for more complete software what are the recommendations for printer software. maybe looking at third party as the xrite stuff seems extraordinarily expensive !!!
