Had the chance to shoot a Dodge Viper RT/10 on Memorial Day. I learned pretty quickly that chrome is very difficult to shoot. :( Any tips for next time?

The car was a beast to ride in though, what a thrill.

The light on #1 is pretty nice. I'd still have shot more later, though.

Which chrome was giving you trouble & what was the problem?

White balance is off in the fourth shot, and heavy vignetting (intentional?). I like the first three, though.

Nice set, I like the 4th as it gives a desire to use the car =on a nice stretch of open road.

Not sure if the link was supposed to come back to my thread, but the problem I found with chrome was mostly due to the reflection of the sun giving me bright spots. The shoot was at about 6:30 in the evening. I guess I could've shot even closer to sunset which seems to be around 8pm almost now.

Car was red. Colors in the 3rd one are a bit off now that I look at it. Played around with the saturation too much I think.

Heavy vignetting was intentional because I didn't like the empty space up there and didn't want to crop the photo anymore.
