This is my first photo post in transportation. The Blue Angles are in town this weekend and today they flew a special show for special needs persons. The general public was not allowed on the grounds. I was approaximately 1/2 mile or more S.E. of the flightline. Everything was shot with my 1D MKIV, 300mmf4L coupled with a 1.4 extender. All photos were opened in CS4 and converted to JPEGS with no other post processing. Uploaded to POTN with ZoomBrowser.EXIF should be intact. I don't know how to upload more than two photos at a time so there will actually be six separate posts.:o:oops: I will be on the ground both Saturday and Sunday and hope to get much better at this before it ends. The last time the BA's were here I tried this with my 40D and the 28-135 kit lens. The results were ok but not what I was hoping for.

Absolutely love the Angels and I'm glad you had the weather for a decent show this afternoon. I'm down in Janesville and I was wondering if you guys over in Eau Claire would get rained out. Looks like the air was a bit heavy but that makes for some great vapor and overall I'd say you did well for your location and conditions.

Right now it's foggy. There is a slight chance of passing showers Saturday and Sunday.

I don't know how to upload more than two photos at a time so there will actually be six separate posts

Sorry, but that's against the rules. What you need to do to embed images is to upload them to a host online & then link to those images.
Where to host my photos

In the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

See the links in my Sig and...

New Image Size Limits: Image must not exceed 1600 pixels on any side.

Cool shots. I just got home an hour ago from Saturdays very soggy show. It was a great show too bad it rained all day but the shots look interesting.

Couple of Canons, and a couple L's
