hello everyone

my name is Michael Y. Wong and ive been on the forums in the past few months mostly via the buy and sell forums lurking on the zeiss discussion forums in the past few months, and some of the photos here have been an awesome inspiration for me. since ive been chatting about hdslr and zeiss glass on this forum for the past while, i figure id share amongst you some work done with the tools.

the main badboys used for this peice were zeiss 35 zf2, 24 1.4 v1, and 200l prime. i did use the 16-35 v2 for all the steadicam work during the cermeony (it was WINDY).

2 7ds + 1 5d (pre 24p mode) were used.

i promise you that this is hopefully not what you are expecting when you think wedding film :)

I just wanted to start by saying that I am never impressed by wedding video. Previous to seeing this there is only one that I ever thought was cool, and it was posted a few months back (apparently shot with 7 5D MKII's in New York). This was just absolutely amazing and thank you for sharing it. Awesome song too, it's one of my favorites. Please post more!

Damn, that's one great movie. I generally enjoy short, "shot with a dslr" wedding movies, because they make you happy just by watching them, but this was really amazing. It was technically superbly done, but that is not the strongest part of it in my opinion. Where your work really stands out is how you "told their story". I love the several seconds clips showing all those little details, which the bride and the groom surely don't want to forget. great!

Amazing. Wonderful work. Brilliant. Produced and shot incredibly well. Have the bride and groom, and their family members, seen it? I'm sure they're thrilled, over the moon, stoked.

By the way, the amount of details you captured was excellent. That one tear from the bride, I think about half way through, was great.

Very well done! You and your team captured the event and location perfectly. The detailed set-up info was also appreciated. I think I saw you and another photographer in the lobby scene.
