I was giving my new Maxwell Smart shoe cam a try :lol: LOL. Acually It took me about 5 minutes to creep up on these shore birds and was knees and elbows for about the last 15 yards.

Really a great series Randall. The first one is my pick and the male down low in the water is second, but all are very well done.

The Avocet is one of my all time favorite birds, especially in breeding color like yours here. They're only passers-through in this part of the country so they don't have the pretty rust color when or if I'm fortunate to see them.
