Interesting angle in 4. Where was that taken?

#4 looks like the top of the corkscrew?

I like #2 - the corkscrew really defines this track. I also like the view through the trees.

Yes, 4 is the Screw - I really can't recall where I stood but likely on the spectator hill a good ways behind the paved/dirt walking trail perhaps - I move around on that hill a bit. I've been to the track twice before for ALMS (I'm from the midwest) so on each visit I try to take shots unlike the visit prior. I'm not sure how I feel about the spring timeframe yet but the 6hr length was cool. (But the weather sucked for my liking - oh well.)

A buddy and myself hunted for the through the trees (screw) shots for some time. I ended up chatting for a bit with a credentialed ALMS shooter on race day who clearly found the same spot earlier in the week (very polite and friendly fellow) so that was nice to know, though he was standing to my left slightly so depending on his glass the shot(s) could look totally different from my own.
