Great image! Please explain how you tripped the shutter for your capture.

You inspired me to do this.

klassenl-i am very glad and flattered i was able to help you capture such a wonderful image, it really means a lot to me since im only 17 years old.

Great image! Please explain how you tripped the shutter for your capture.

Pinto- ha i guess my phone dident capture how i tripped the flash. i used the ebay triggers to trigger the flash. just search wireless flash trigger in ebay and you will find plenty (i got mine for about 12 bucks)

how many tries did it take you to get that shot?

Mr. Bill-just booted up bridge and at count i took 26 pictures and had 2 keepers. ironically the first one was a keeper and the third to last one was one as well. the problem with the capture was not the exposure with manual flash and stuff but rather getting the timing of dropping the strawberry and taking the picture at the same time

I've seen some acoustic triggering rigs here and there on the boards, but those are for the electronics guys. The beauty of digital is that you can try 26, or 50 or 100 times and it doesn't cost you anything and you get instant feedback. I think I only tried about 6 or 7 times.

Nice shot, thanks for sharing the setup.. It's amazing how simple the setup for these kind of shots are but they still yeild astounding results.

Sorry Atmianzo, but the "larger" image does not work. On my monitor I can clearly see the joint/edge between the original image and the white background that was added and where you have cloned the water line ontop. The new extended background is pure white where as original background and the areas around the added water line is off white (greyish).
