Just playing with a processing option. I think the final edit might work better with the modern era automobiles removed.

The cars definitely need to go....can't do much with the overpass....although they claim that it is inspired from the art deco period, same as the locomotive....maybe if it were in Miami instead of Roanoke, VA. The smaller version posted makes it seem busier, but it's not as "busy" full size. The 800 pixel size definitely hurts it, but the next size I have available exceeds the forum limits by considerable, so I am stuck linking it to allow folks to see it a bit bigger. This was a scheduled event shoot, which a number of photographers paid for the privilege to take photos of the 1218. The organizers really didn't do the shooters any favors in the way they set things up, especially with their parking arrangements. People that know me call me Dan

I'm working on a version without the cars....might be a while...lots of cloning and healing needed. Perhaps I need to spring for PSCS5 and the new tools there. People that know me call me Dan

Perhaps because it gives a scale for it? Who knows...looks good anyways -=Prints For Sale at PIXELS=-

Frank...the problem that I run into is maintaining the 2:1 aspect ratio that the customer wants. To get rid of any more at the bottom would require trimming the sides and you can see that I don't have the luxury of taking much from there without chopping off part of the train. The original is already at the top of the frame and there is no way I can successfully increase the height of the building at the top right. I'm open for suggestions. People that know me call me Dan
