Just a few taken over a week ago in my backyard, sorry for the perch but it was the only thing I had that they would land on, trees are full of leaves... Gotta get me some driftwood..:D

Pretty birds Norman, the dark BG works well here. You just need to go find a magic perch, the birds will love it.

Nothing wrong with the perch, but you're right about getting some driftwood.

Great set Norman...the perch has that "rustic" look about it and nothing wrong with it.

Thanks Steve, I have a few stick perches out there but rarely do they land on them... I'll have to change them around a bit..

Thanks Dave, I wish but the purple finch is one of the birds on the decline here, not many sightings at all at Ebird...

Very pretty shots and subjects Norman. You handled the tough bright yellow on the Goldfinch perfectly.
