Awesome series ,and great captures looks like a great photo shoot cant imagine how fast this happens.

Great shots!!. This event is coming to NY/NJ on June 19-20 and I am planning to go. Could tell me what lens you've used. I am planning on renting 300mm f2.8 for this event.

I shot those with the 500..... The 300 will work fine if you have the 1.4 extender take that along also.... Good luck and have fun, they are a great group to photograph. Make sure you do the pit walk also.

No, actually they have a minimun height above the water required to fly at. He almost went for a swim! He did an awesome job controlling and pulling out of that little miss. They get a penalty that takes away from their time to get through the course when they go below the minum height. :)
