Mushroomhead was the first group to "do" the mask thing. Slipknot made it bigger, and is more well known for the masks, but they weren't the first.

Awesome shots, good to see these guys still on the road. And yeah these guys were around before slipknot was, by a year or two I think at least.

Nice tight shots. It seems like they've been around forever. Would have loved to made it to ROTR.

I think they are all amazing shots. You do an amazing job with your live shots. My favorites are definitely 1 + 2. They have great contrast and the black and white do them great justice.

I do have a question though... How do you get so close up at the shows for pictures? Do you just show up mad early or do you get a pass or something to go up front?

I'm thinking about going to Mayhem in my area this year but don't want to risk Pit admittance and my 450D colliding...

I had a photo pass through a media site. Most of the time - if you get there early enough - you can get right up front and get some good stuff. IF they allow your camera in.

The pass for the site I went through only gave me access to the 2nd and 3rd stages; the main stage was open to print publications only.

www.Cover-Online.com (external link)

The photos are mainly through the Facebook site, and there are interviews on the site itself.
