I thought I'd already find a thread on these, but I didn't see one?

These do look pretty cool, but the price - ouch.

I have to say that I do find my Honl snoot difficult to work with and this looks like it would work a lot better. But honestly the homemade cardboard snoot I used to use worked better too.

I just read the ad in PopPhoto. I could not even find an eBay knock off yet.

The idea looks interesting but like Christina said it is a bit pricey.

I'll wait for someone else to jump in the pool and see what the water is like.

Wow, $105 for three pieces of fabric!!! That is a pretty hefty markup. More power to them if they can sell them at that price, but I won't be ordering one any time soon.

I like FlashBender Bounce Card. Great quality, awesome attachment (compared to others).
Surprisingly, the metal rod inside is easy to bend and it does hold the shape pretty well.

Please be aware that Large FlashBender Reflector can be too heavy for some flash units. It should not be a problem in general, but some flash heads may not be able to hold it at all tilt angles.

I am so in the wrong business.

I just carry one of these (external link) and a piece of cinefoil.

Takes care of just about anything I can think of.

That seems like an excellent way to make one of those.

And, for that much money, or time involved to make one, it seems like enough wear on it would flat out break it.

Anyone have a guess as to what type of material might be used for the white surface. It says a "reflective" material. What might be a good material from the fabric store to substitute? I thought maybe ripstop; but that may not be reflective enough.

I made a couple of those before, really didn't like them. Im spending a lot of time working on bounce like everyone here suggests. The only modifier Im still happy with is the lightsphere, but only for receptions, and at that mostly just dancing . . . where in the future I will be setting up remote strobes to light the floor.
