My very first E-Session with a couple of my friends Billy & Stephanie. These were all taken at a rose garden in Eugene. We had so much fun and they photographed so beautifully that I had a hard time picking and choosing which ones to use! Enjoy!

I love the color treatment on the middle ones. I think the ones in the red flowers could use a shallower depth of field. What aperture were you using?

I agree about the shallower DOF in the first and last one - they would have been definite winners then. In #1 I feel the focus is missed, I doubt you intended it to be the flowers right in front of the couple.

I really like the middle photos - smiles, posing. Except in #3 the guy looks like he only has the whites..haha :)) creepy. :)

i love the colour effect on 2 and 3. Was it a preset or did you do it yourself??

I'll add one more to the request for that awesome color treatment. Also, #1 the focus isn't on them, but I think that's what you wanted and i like it, but just in case somebody else brought it up. They're sort of "lost in the flowers"

Very nicely done! #3 and #4 are my favorites. I like your focal point on #3 and expression on your clien't's face...priceless! The muted colors, clothing and hair styles are right out of the 60s (and yes, I still remember that far back!). Even the muted/faded color is a 60s spin-off. Great concept, execution and PP. Love them!

Thank you everyone for your feedback! I still have lots to learn, and I'm glad I have such a great forum to turn to!

My PPing was done in photoshop...I played around a lot with Curves mostly and finished it off with adding a layer of yellow and pink with really really low opacity and I changed the blending mode. I hope that helps!

Again, thank you everyone!

being a fan of close in your face shots... i really like number 2. i dunno if you added the vignette or it was the lens... but i'd like to see it removed.

and yes, the first and last would have been great with a shallower DOF
