Lots of Canon users in the public areas as well as my side of the fence and nothing posted yet! Not exactly an exciting day and crowds down on last year, but there is always something of interest.

Start of the first Porsche race, nearly everyone was going in the right direction:

Paul O'Neill missed the first two races due to gearbox problems. Here is an unusual angle of Paul entering Lodge in race 3:

Tom Bradshaw being rammed out of the second Porsche race by Mr Gaw:

He went a few laps like this before eventually giving up. These drivers are kids who look like they should be in bed by 5pm:

I'll finish with a classic Lodge shot of Jason:

I couldnt understand why the Ginetta wasnt flagged to come in, eventually the bonnet did part company from the car. It could have been nasty!
I spent the Clio cup race and this Ginetta on the outside of Knickker Brook, there were some other canon TOGs there, wondered if they were on this forum but was a bit shy to ask!!

Didn't the Ginetta get called in, have the bonnet removed and then go back out? One certainly did.

Great shots, wish i could get that close, crowd was a little smaller didn't help Ginetta mob taking over the hill at Clay Hill.

Paul, getting close can be good but over the years I have had a few narrow escapes ranging from a Formula Renault wheel with suspension missing me by 6 inches, a Ferrari flattening the barrier directly in front of me to being flat on my back looking up at the underside of an XR2 parked on the Armco.

Still, I keep coming back.

Here is another shot, this time on the exit of Old Hall. Lost to the public since the installation of the catch fencing:

An angle the public don't get, close and personal coming into Lodge (7D and 70-200 by the way):
