A lot can be inferred and indeed, learned, from observing the influence of focal length and aperture on perspective, DOF, and quality of the out-of-focus parts of the image. Lending my support for disclosure of these items, Cal Back when this thread started over 3 years ago everyone posted the lens they used, that was the point. It seems now it is just a general photo thread.

But I see a lot of people who can't do that for several reasons. I will definitely try to remember to include lens/shot data when I post. Name is Ron.
