Saw a prototype for this back in early March at an aviation photography society symposium.

Word is, they're creating one to drive RX Skyports as well. ;)

Actually, it's a unit that plugs into the Elinchrom RX-series strobes (the Quadra is not an RX-series strobe) to trigger and control the output of the strobe with a MiniTT1 or a FlexTT5 and a Zone Controller (or a master flash). More details here:

When we were shown it back in March, it was still "hush-hush."

My bad. I've actually been following these PW developments religiously but confused the Zone Controller with the new PocketWizard Elinchrom RX units (the receivers).
I was thinking ahead of FlyingPhotog and thought they were already onto something else, as the new Quadra now also carries the RX tag.
