Tiny Visitor on my Patio this morning

Was able to get very close to this baby robin who obviously left the nest too early. momma robin was NOT happy that I was so close to her baby!

Both are great shots of something most folk will never have the chance to see otherwise. Maw robin is very possesive normally, this one doesn't look like a runt.

Nice shots. It doesn't hurt to pick them up and stick them in a bush or tree.

Mitch - thanks for that info. I didnt know that would be okay, so next time I will definitely do that! This happens a lot around here for some reason - probably the heavy winds.

I was just mentioning that, cause there is some rumor that if you touch the babies the mother will abandon them. That's just not true, cause I have picked them up and put them in low branches of trees and the mothers still tended to them. Also bring in the cat if you have one.
